METROPOLIS, NEW TROY 10022
|
Today is Superman was first conceived in the mid-1930s by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, two high school students in Cleveland, Ohio. Initially, they made Superman a bald-headed villain with incredible mental powers. Luckily, they soon refined the character into a muscular crime fighter with superhuman strength, the ability to fly, a distinctive red cape, and an "S" logo on his chest. History of Superman
I've been watching and loving the show ever since, thus my love for Lois and Clark also turned me into a hardcore Superman fan. I had a subscription to as many Superman comics that I could get my hands on, including: Action Comics, Adventures of Superman, Man of Steel, Superman, Man of Tomorrow, the list goes on and on. To the point where I've got a trunk full of Superman comic books, and tons of Lois and Clark related stuff. At this point my parents thought I was crazy, (well at least I had a hobby.) But, I never had anyone else to share my love for Lois and Clark with because if I even mentioned the show in school people thought I was weird. In 1994 I finally got access to the internet at home, and the first thing I searched online was you guessed it Lois and Clark. I was amazed at the thousands of LNC related websites that were out there, and of course I wanted to create my own site. But, I didn't know the first thing about web publishing and turned to my friend Drew Campbell for help. (Drew if your reading this I partially dedicate this site to you dude!) Drew was big into saving the earth , and I was astonished by how cool his "save the earth" site was. Thus I copied his format, with his permission of course. (So, originally my website was a save the earth type site.) After a few drastic changes, Carrie's Daily Planet was born. Five years later the site donned a new name "That's All Folcs: The Ultimate Lois and Clark Site" I thought it was a really cute title considering that everyone that has seen the title turns to me and says "shouldn't it be Folks?" Nope it's a pun get it?
hahahah.. sorry had to throw some
humor in there. So do you like the new format? Just drop me a line and let me
know. I'm always open to suggestions.
A Few Disclaimers: If you like the pictures on my pages so much that you use them on your
site. Because
I have so many pictures in my archives and I have whole scripts, it
takes a while for them to load.
